Here are some current pics with my new hair color. I have to get it cut again & the eyebrows waxed...it is never ending!!! I haven't been keeping this up at all! sorry.......I actually got into the studio this weekend! I made a rather cute ring & may sell it or I may keep it, oh crap, I could have worn it today because it would totally go with what I have on! dur.....

I cleaned and cleaned & slept this weekend. Peaches usually gets me up around 0500 every day so on weekends, I try to get a bunch of naps in. Luckily, she actually let me nap for a while yesterday. I also watched Harry Potter this weekend & watched the kids grow up. Personally, the Weasley twins are quite cute! I know I am a naughty old woman!

I have lost 45 pds! Now, my next goal is 20 pds. I have signed up for my master's degree and should start school soon. I am very excited about it. Still single but that is okay. not sure if I want to date for a while....it gets old having your heart broken!

Stuff

Mom is coming into town on Sunday. I have a bunch of tests/etc because my iron and blood work is NOT good at all. Hopefully when they do the Upper GI test on Monday, it will show what the heck is going on!

With mom here, comes her computer which is awesome so we or aka I can get descriptions etc updated at home. No time at day job!

Well, I finally got one of my heart tests scheduled, so that is good. My computer at home has loads of evil nasty things in it so I have to find someone who can fix it for me for fairly inexpensively.

The new work camera aka for jewelery pictures is the BOMB!!!!! Oh , the photos are awesome. I can not do any type of photo type things in my day job computer so I take the pictures then send them to the Monkey Mom to get them posted in Etsy...what a pain!

Monkey Mom sent in some jewelery pictures in a beading magazine so I hope we get selected! Great for her.

My creative fairy is still in mourning so hopefully I will be able to create more soon. Today is the first day that physically and mentally I am feeling more like myself again, praise the Lord!

This Thursday

I have been so busy that I didn't even know what time it was. Was a klutz and dropped lunch on the floor, on me and spattered on a nurse in our break room. Cleaned that up and luckily one of the other nurses was going to McDonald's & picked me up lunch.

What a day!

Tired!

Boy I am tired....too many nights on the couch. Mom leaves tomorrow, I will miss her but looking forward to getting my bed back! I can NOT do this anymore. My neck is starting to hurt again so sorry mom, I love you but I have to work at work & I need my rest. Mom is lucky that she works at home.

This is a cute picture that mom took of Tom & I. No beading was done last night but disaster was stopped in the nick of time. I over poured the resin in some things & we both thought it was stuck to the wood where I put stuff on to dry. A little prying with a butter knife and we were still good since the resin wasn't completely dry yet....yikes!

Oh, don't use swarovski flat backs crystals with resin either....it now looks like a little mirror instead of a crystal. I wonder if I would have deco podged it would that have happened?

All sorts of new things being learned here & it is fun:)

It is Friday

I think I have a cold. I haven't had a cold in forever but I don't have a sinus infection so I am thinking I have a cold, bleck. Time to stock up on Nyquil and other things so I feel better, bleck.

Tom is the man! He is going to help me out with this business in doing things that I am kind of uncomfortable doing or mom just can't find the time to do it anymore. I am really excited about that so we will be exploring that avenue when his kids go home on Tuesday.

I am exploring Tombstone tomorrow and it should be fun. Now, I need to remember how to edit photos on my laptop and I will be ready to go. I have a bag filled with jewelery that needs their picture taken! I am also looking for classes in digital photography so I can do that better also:)

Please pray that I feel better! I am use to the fibro pain etc but I hate it when I get sick on top of that crap.....

As you probably have guessed, it is HOT in Tucson. I did my errands and just remembered what I forgot to purchase while I was at Target, that picture thing, OH CRAP! I have new pieces made and they are sitting there pouting because they aren't in the sites yet:(

It has been a zoo here at the day job. I am tired and trying to think of something to say but I forget... LOLOLOL

I don't know about you but

I am getting tired of all the Michael Jackson stuff....what is going on in the world? Is it just me, or is this getting old?

A kind of rainy day

We had some sprinkles here, I wonder if our monsoon season is ready to start? I have been totally busy with day job that this is my first chance to get into here. I am doing great and the rest of the house is almost ready for some picture taking:) I love having my own home, it rocks my world!

Moving on Jet Plane, don't know when I'll be back again..

Yes, the move was a success:) Everything is in the house but not unpacked yet. I was lucky to find clothes for work last night:) We are exhausted. Of course, you never sleep well in a new home so I am one tired out monkey right now.

I forgot that my water heater runs on gas so we had to heat up some water using Mr Coffee, yes folks you can use it to brew coffee and to heat water so you can take a sponge bath and wash your hair!! LOL

My gas gets delivered tomorrow. It sounds like a mouse/rat is trying to make it's home under my house so I have to get some poison for it...I don't want to do that but I can't imagine trying to get a poor little cutest mouse out of a trap either......yuck. I don't like killing stuff unneccessarly but no cat etc....too bad a friendly snake won't get it and then move out!! I have to get steel wool today to plug up the hole as well, it is probably got in by my gas stuff..

I couldn't find my alarm clock so both cell phones were set up to go off today. The cleaning crew is coming out on Saturday to the old apartment:)

Starting to sound like a Douglas Adams book...good author, he wrote Resturant at the End of the Universe and several other books, they were quite unusal.

I got the half day tomorrow off:) Praise the Lord! So, tomorrow afternoon, I pick up mom and then off to new house. The movers are coming tomorrow and I am super excited! Dad is coming on Saturday so at least we can start doing some painting in the kitchen soon. We got some super cute shower curtains for curtains in the kitchen. They don't look like shower curtains and I really couldn't find anything that I liked so why not:) Thinking creatively out of the box is a fun thing:)

I am still not packed. We are down to 2 boxes which the rest of plates etc go into and the rest, the good old stand by packing material, no rub garbage bags:) They work really well for clothes. Today, I have a cute outfit on that I haven't been able to wear in several years;) Soon, I will be able to get into my summer box of cute clothes that I was really close to wearing when I was living in San Antonio. Tucson has been awesome to me and yes, God has had that happen to me as well:)

I am so relieved that part is over and it took me over 1/2 the morning yesterday to take care of getting things turned on. Yes, I know I waited but hey, I was a bit paranoid stuff would fall thru!!

I am a Gulf War Veteran from the first war. Only ONE MORE WEEK until I sign for my house!! Back is still pinging but I am packing boxes. I am NOT moving the boxes however, I think that is what pinged my back out again on Saturday. It is in my lower back so I can't sit nor stand in one position too long. It gets old, let me tell you.

I just read the first 4 books in the Left Behind series....I HIGHLY reccomend that everyone should read them. It is amazing the power of our Lord!

We got our beads from Gaea..........oh her skulls are so beautiful!!!! Can't wait to make them into beautiful jewelery! wheewwwww.............

I am going to start packing the extra stuff in the kitchen in a second after I stretch out my back. Fun weekend huh?

Windows class

is officically done. Actually, I have learned a lot. Hopefully they will give me the options so I can retain this stuff in the brain LOL.

I am tired....mom's third air mattress went boom this morning. It wasn't a boom just a slow fizzzzzzzz. So, off we go to Costco when I get home to purchase another one. It was looking really pregant in a spot so who only knows what the heck happened to it...

Funky Monkey Girls Facts...

Okay a few facts about the Funky Monkey Girls, in case you were curious:

1. Mom aka Donna has always been creative. She supported the family thru her crafts when my dad lost his job when I was younger.
2. I self taught myself how to make jewelery. The only class that I took was a PMC class in San Antonio. I made wire wraps with only one pliers....I still can't use two so my loops are a bit loopey LOL :)
3. My mom & I are best friends! I highly recommend it of course when your mom tells you some stuff about herself, make sure no flies are around to hover in your mouth when it falls open in shock!
4. I was a practicing witch for 14 yrs then thanks for my wonderful family, I am back with God.
5. I taught mom how to make jewelery 3-4 years ago and look at her stuff now, it ROCKS!
6. I am the eldest and the only girl so spoiled....why yes I am.
7. I have 2 younger brothers.
8. My dad can fix almost everything:)
9. I have never been married and no kids.
10. Mom dressed funkier than I do.

No hip surgery!!! I am glad but not thrilled because I know in the colder weather, yes we do get that here I will start hurting again.

My goofy niece has cancelled her graduation party...she is 18 and knows everything!!! Man, I would have one to get some money! She lives in MN and has attitude.

So this means that mom will be here when I sign my life away on June 1st then dad will be coming down on June 5th! Paint shall proceed!

Ms Margaret got her box of new jewelery and is loving it and sending a check in which I am loving it as well.

I was in the creating mood than I got my nose in a book that was it.

We have decieded that we really need to take a photography class. We have beautiful product but just can't get that look on a website.

I really really want to be home playing. darn work, darn work paycheck. Opps, never mind about paycheck, paycheck is wonderful warm and fuzzy and we loves it!

bad morning

I fell down and went boom. My left ankle twisted right under me. This is the ankle that had a hair line fracture in it a couple of years ago. So, the hip is killing me and the ankle isn't quite sure what is wrong with it yet.
