AC problems

My AC in my house died last Tuesday. I had to get a window unit cause central air is super expensive and Tucson Arizona in June/July...HOT is a mild word to describe it.

But at least it keeps most of my house cooler, I had to shut up a couple of rooms including my studio so when I get the creative fairy back into my house, I will have to give her loads of water with ice cubes!

Well, it is definate, my niece had the H1N1, she lives in Minnesota. She was sick but not too bad, praise the Lord.

Mom has ordered new computer. I need new glue to put things on different jewelery. Hmm, was having some technical difficulties last night & felt like throwing it on the wall, I didn't. I guess you need stock of glue as well. This is what you learn by experimenting:)

It is a beautiful day in Tucson and I much rather be outside walking for a while. Maybe I will do that after lunch. I am still trying to figure out a different color for my bridemaids. The color I picked looks horrible on her so back to the coloring board so to speak.

My jewelery facebook account is going well. I am trying to pick friends that are crafty because I have my own personal facebook that I do with some games & stuff.

Life stuff

I haven't been on the computer much, nor making jewelery much nor feel like talking to people. Doing a great deal of thinking and will be praying on it later, life changes. Not getting married but my day job. I work at a corrupt place from the top on down. I find it increasly difficult to work here. So, I am weighing all options & will be doing some praying on it later. I have enough years in to retire but I am too young....I think it is time to go do something else that doesn't bother me ethically. Yes, I protect my staff when I can but it appears that is being taken away from me as well. Not from my boss or any type of punishment just the way the system is.....

Please pray that I receive direction from God to know where he wants my path to go.

Another day........

I am freezing away in my office...brrrrrr, at least I have a sweater in here when the AC starts to get overwhelming. But this is a good thing because I no longer have my TENS unit on, hooray but I am on muscle relaxers and trying to stay awake is quite hard.

The pain is getting better, my shoulder still is painful whenever I take a deep breath but it isn't the type of pain I had before when I doubled over cause it hurt so darned bad!!!!!!!! I refused to give up the battle against Fibromyglia and I will feel better darn it!

I am starting with a multi vitamin and calcium with iron and magnesium in it. Mom looked up natural things on the computer to assist with muscles spasms and one of them stated to take more magnesium, so today is day 2 of the vitamins. Tom is a wonderful man, he washed my kitchen floor for me...he is so a keeper:)

Now to business news, one of 0ur bracelets from vivamexico was in a Etsy treasury this weekend:) I didn't get to see it but mom did. I wrote the person who put us in there a great thank you note. I did receive some items from sacred kitsch and I will put them to use soon. I have to order somemore dominos. Mom loves the ones that I made (thanks Margot for giving me the courage to do so) that are in the Funky Monkey Girls shoppe in Etsy. Tonight, I go and pay a bill and take more pictures and start getting my studio organized. It is a mess and it is driving me nuts!

rain rain come again:)

Well, it has the appearance, the rumbling and the clouds with a dusting of rain pellets to state, here I come.....let's hope so because we sure can use it. One of my minions is moving this weekend so he isn't thrilled about it but as he states, "no one nor my stuff will melt" as I state, "as long as they aren't the wicked witch of the west"!

I have been ready Nina Bagley journal & seeing her work. I am truly humbled by her words, the ways she expresses herself and her jewelery, I wish I could create as brightly as her! WOW!!

I should have my camera here today, the sky is so awesome looking and truly reminds you of God's great glory! I can't understand how some people could think that this was all brought to us by a bang?

Well, if I can't leave here early to go to the main VA to pick up a couple of meds, then I will leave @1630 after my tour is done and pray that there aren't any floods etc because Precious is low to the ground and I don't have any paddles to pladdle to work if the heavy monsoons hit!

FRIDAY

Praise God it is Friday and payday. hooray! I am waiting to talk to my doctor about uping my pain medicaiton to something a bit stronger so I can keep sleeping. I feel great when I first wake up and then it goes down hill, sigh.

I didn't create last night but did update Funky Monkey Girls Etsy shoppe with a few more things. I am so loving Tom's camera that I may keep it forever, of course he is not aware of it yet LOLOLOL

He is coming over tomorrow and the first thing he is going to do, is rub my back, you can't imagine how I am SO looking forward to that:)

Well, I SLEPT THRU THE WHOLE NIGHT!!!!!!!!! Praise God! I was on the phone with mom last night & we are believing in reflexalogy so she looked up shoulder pain and I pressed and rub the heck of the ouchiness that was my little toe! That and the fact that I took a super hot tub soak plus with perocet help me sleep all night. It was wonderful!

I am feeling the urge to create believe it or not! I wonder if I am going to make jewelery that is full of spikes and other things to reflect the pain that I am still in? Wouldn't that be interesting?

I am so wishing it was Friday today but it isn't :( At least I am getting work done at the day job so that is a good thing, sometimes LOLOLOL

Life

Life is good. I am making jewelery and attempting to stay out of the sun during this super hot period!

Day job busy but doing okay..........I think something just froze over! LOLOLOL

It is Monday!

This is a picture of me before I lost the 30 pds and got new glasses:) This is dated from Dec 2008. I can add a newer picture of me tonight.

I am trying hard to get excited for Mondays...why you may ask, because if you think about it, we wish most of our lives away. "I wish it was Friday or I wish it was Saturday!" What about the other days of the week, yes we have to work but our attitude determines our reality and our happiness. So, I am trying to get excited about Mondays-Thursday LOL!

I had some guests over to the new house. It was so much fun. The living room is almost all painted so I got to put up some pretties and some pictures. Looking much more like me:) ahhh, that is always fun & nice:)

I also sold a bunch of jewelery to my friends mom, who I can't remember her name for the life of me! I am bad, I remember faces but names, not that great at!

Funky Monkey Girls Facts...

Okay a few facts about the Funky Monkey Girls, in case you were curious:

1. Mom aka Donna has always been creative. She supported the family thru her crafts when my dad lost his job when I was younger.
2. I self taught myself how to make jewelery. The only class that I took was a PMC class in San Antonio. I made wire wraps with only one pliers....I still can't use two so my loops are a bit loopey LOL :)
3. My mom & I are best friends! I highly recommend it of course when your mom tells you some stuff about herself, make sure no flies are around to hover in your mouth when it falls open in shock!
4. I was a practicing witch for 14 yrs then thanks for my wonderful family, I am back with God.
5. I taught mom how to make jewelery 3-4 years ago and look at her stuff now, it ROCKS!
6. I am the eldest and the only girl so spoiled....why yes I am.
7. I have 2 younger brothers.
8. My dad can fix almost everything:)
9. I have never been married and no kids.
10. Mom dressed funkier than I do.

blogging on the weekend

Well, I guess I have the follower widget but can't see it at work. Mom has her computer so I am blogging on it today. No steam to bead much today but tomorrow after visiting great auntie we should be able to have more steam to bead.

I got some really cool steam punk compontments from etsy so I will be creating or attempting to figure out what to make from them. I am hoping that I can create those like I can create most of my jewelery, not too difficult to figure stuff out.

Mom and I are plotting away and thinking seriously about starting a second store outside of etsy. We are also thinking about new focus for our creativity so stay tuned for changes:)

Lunch time & boy this day is going by slowly! Monkey momma coming tomorrow and I know I have announced that a lot but it is SO much funnier and challenging (in a great way) when mom is here to push me into different creative levels!

Mom is a creative person!! She is totally awesome in whatever creative type thing she does! It seems she can pick up everything in a milsecond and I am still waiting at the first gate:) She is my best friend & please pray that they sell their place in Florida so they can come live by me.

I do love my daddy but he and I are a LOT alike so sometimes we get on each others nerves but our relationship is getting much better these last couple of years. ONE thing I will advise, if you do have problems with a family member, work it out. They aren't going to be here forever & you will regret it once they are gone. Also, every family is dysfunctional so if you think you have the only one that is, surprise!!

Now, if I can get Jim, my middle brother down here we would be good!! :) Jeff, who is the youngest is in the Air Force (HOORAY-prior AF veteran here was in the first Gulf War & got sick) stationed in New Mexico.
