Far far away......

No I haven't fallen off the world yet, but I have been very bad in blogging for a while. I guess I just had to take a break from it.

Well, the break is over and here I am :) Aren't you lucky? I got my left eye catract out on July 22nd. The great news is that I can see 20/20 out of that eye, bad news is that I can't wear my glasses at all even when the lens has been removed. The difference is so overwhelming much! So when I am creating, I need to get super close and then the rest of the time it is far away. My next eye will be done August 17th!!! Praise God! I have had a headache since July 22nd. This isn't fun.

Newest news, bronze clay!!! Oh, how I love this stuff!!! It is so much fun and mom got the kiln to run right so all I have to do is hit a ocuple of buttons and bam...beautiful stuff comes out. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the items that I just made....I made two hearts with wings, a cross and a special surprise for the monkey momma....of course, I can't mention it her and hopefully she will take a picture of it so I can post it on here.

Etsy

I just put a request out on etsy to see if someone can make us some cute thank you tags for our Funky Monkey Girls store. I could do them myself but I rather have them done by someone else to spread the wealth around & I can make more jewelery!!

Lucky for me, I have a full time job working for the federal government. I have been in for 20 yrs so it is pretty hard to get rid of me at this point.

I have noticed that since I and I know mom has been really giving glory to the Lord, he has so blessed me and my family!! Shout out to the Lord!! Praise his name!

Now, I am going to go home & make some faith inspired jewelery for our etsy shop.

Hopefully, will be able to get to a computer at a library near me or this will be it for blogging until March 10th.

vacation

Okay, after debating with myself to take an entire week off or just save it, I decided that I am taking it off. I will be on vacation 3/3-3/9. I won't be going anywhere fancy or doing anything exciting but just need some time to get some stuff done.

list:

1. Go to dentist

2. Get car stuff done

3. Get beading room set up

4. Chill out from work

5. make stuff and more stuff and more stuff.

I don't have enough sick time to take off for the dentist & I get 2 days a month off and I have to be within a certain timeframe when my leave goes into next year or I could lose the excess and trust me, I worked for a long time to get 8hrs of leave off every 2 weeks ie payperiod & no body is taking that away:)

VACATION.....

I am going on vacation starting today @1630:) Mom's laptop freezes everytime I get to this blog so not too many updates until 2/3/09.

I will have loads of pictures and our etsy site will still be active & updated with a whole bunch of new jewelery....
